Jerome M. (Jerry) Chertkoff (*24. Dezember 1936) ist ein emeritierter Professor für Psychologie an der Indiana University Bloomington.^[1]

1954 nahm Chertkoff ein Studium der Biologie an der Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore auf und schloss 1958 mit einem Bachelor of Arts ab. Er wechselte an die University of Iowa, wo er 1964 mit einem Ph.D. in Psychologie abschloss.^[1]

In seinen Forschungen untersuchte Chertkoff soziale Konflikte, Aggressionen und Frieden innerhalb von Gruppen und zwischen Gruppen. Darüber hinaus erforschte er Verhandlungen, Koalitionsbildung, Fairness, Beziehungen innerhalb und außerhalb von Gruppen sowie Gruppenprozesse.^[1]
