Our goal this season was to locate and monitor a breeding pair of Burrowing Owls. Anne and I were fortunate to locate four burrows near Fresno all active with pairs. It took several trips and many days monitoring behavior in an effort to be there at the right time when the owlets leave the burrow. I believe we missed the actual day by a week, but two of the owlets were easily identified as the last hatched. I am posting just a few of so many good images taken over the past two months and when time permits I am going to put together a slideshow for easy viewing.

All images were taken from the van and very few have been cropped.
