Preetha Krishna (also known as Preethaji) is a spiritual teacher,[1][2] author[3] and co-founder of Ekam[4][5]

Work

In 2002 Preetha Krishna founded the Women's Movement for the Golden Age in Bangalore.[6] In 2009 along with her husband, Krishna, also known as 'Krishnaji',[7] she co-founded One World Academy[8], a philosophy and meditation school in Kanchipuram,[9] that later turned into O&O Academy.[10]

In 2018, Preetha Krishna along with her husband created the Ekam World Peace Festival[11] which is an annual meditation event conducted at Ekam. The event has drawn together several million participants from across the world[12] including celebrities.[13] During the global pandemic, it was conducted online.[14]

Preetha Krishna is a director of Kosmik Music and production company Kosmik Global Media, which owns the Bengaluru Bulls, a Pro Kabaddi League team.[15][16]

In 2019, the Income Tax Department raided premises associated with a wellness center[17], in which Preetha Krishna was questioned.[18] A counter affidavit was filed by her in the Madras High Court.[19]
