Bruno Centrone (* 22. Mai 1955 in Ravenna) ist ein italienischer Philosophiehistoriker auf dem Gebiet der antiken Philosophie.

Centrone studierte Philosophie an der Universität Perugia und erwarb dort 1977 die laurea. Daran schloss er von 1979 bis 1982 ein Studium der antiken Literatur an der Universität Rom La Sapienza an. Es folgte ein Doktorandenstudium ebenda in Philosophie bei Gabriele Giannantoni (1983–1987) mit Studienaufenthalten an den Universitäten Tübingen und Würzburg (1986–1987). Promoviert wurde er 1989 mit einer Dissertation über die pythagoreischen Schriften zur Ethik. Bereits von 1988 an war er wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Centro di Studio del Pensiero Antico in Rom, bis er 1999 auf eine Professur für Geschichte der antiken Philosophie an der Universität Pisa berufen wurde (zunächst als professore associato, von 2004 an als professore straordinario, von 2007 an als professore ordinario). Zugleich hatte er von 2013 bis 2018 Lehraufträge an der Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa.

Centrone arbeitet insbesondere zu Pythagoras, den Pythagoreern und den pseudo-pythagoreischen Schriften, zu Platon und dessen Ethik sowie zu Aristoteles (Metaphysik).
